Creating a Contact in HubSpot
** If you create the contact in LotWalk First, the contact in HubSpot is NOT guaranteed to be associated with the correct company. BEST PRACTICE is to create the contact in HUBSPOT FIRST then create the user credentials in LotWalk.
** Information you will need from the Contact:

First and Last Name.

If it is a salesperson or BDC/Internet Salesperson-Rep, the name has to be exactly like it is listed in the CRM.

Cell Phone number

Dealership phone number or direct phone number at the dealership

Job Title they are given from the dealership
Go into 'contacts' within Hubspot. Toward the top right of the page, you will see an orange button that says: 'Add contacts'. Click that and it will open a window to start adding the contact.
With the information collected above, start filling in the blanks. When it comes to phone number, put in the dealership phone number.
Lifecycle Stage will give you drop down box. If it is an existing dealership that is a paying dealer with Lotpop Inc., you will mark the contact as 'Customer'. If it is a contact for a lead or new prospect, you will mark them as a lead.
You will come to a section that is labeled 'Associate Contact with'. Use the drop down box to search for the Company name of the dealership they belong to and select that dealership.
With contacts that are from a dealership group, only c-suite members, platform directors or anyone that is NOT specific to one particular dealership should be set to a parent account. Other than that, associate them with the dealership they belong to.
Click 'Create'. Once you click create, the system will take you to the contact page for the entry you just created.
From here, you will complete the left rail. Many of the fields will be filled in from the initial starting point of entering the contact.
The following fields on the left rail are mandatory to get completed:
- Mobile Phone Number to confirm meeting
- Franchise
- State/Providence
Right Hand Rail

If they are a LEAD and there is a deal created and they are either an influencer or decision maker, you will need to add the deal.
- Same for Quote
You are done at this point. Nothing else needed at this time.
