LOTLINX - INTERNAL INFORMATION ONLY

The following instructions are for setting up a LotLinx feed.

Performance Engineers/Onboarding Team - PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING THINGS:

  • The dealer MUST tell you once they complete the instructions
  • Once you get word from the dealer, a ticket needs to be created 
    • Ticket name: LotLinx Set Up - Store Name
  • If support DOES NOT receive a ticket with confirmation the dealer completed the instructions, we CANNOT request the feed from LotLinx. The GTM Tags must be in place before a feed is requested. 
  • If a dealership uses a different website provider than listed on the LotLinx Provider Page, a ticket will need to be created so support can reach out to LotLinx to get further information.
  • We MUST know the provider before putting in the request in the LotLinx Portal
  • LotLinx only works with USA based dealerships. Unfortunately Canadian dealerships will not be able to implement LotLinx at this time.

Integrations/Support Team: LotLinx Portal 

  1. Once you have received word that they have followed the instructions and set everything up, you will go to this website here.
  2. Fill everything out on the site according to what rooftop you need to set up:
    1. Dealer Website 
      1. If website is not found when first entering it in - Click "Can't find your dealership?" link and fill out the information. You can put your own contact information in, it does not need to be dealer contact information but may be better.
    2. Feed Provider
      1. If provider is not listed in the drop down, scroll all the way down and click "Other" and provide the provider name. 
    3. Dealership Name
    4. Business Address
    5. City
    6. State
    7. Zip Code
    8. Dealer Contact Name
    9. Dealer Contact Email
  3. Agree to the Terms & Conditions
  4. Click “Submit Enrollment.”
  5. In the coming days, continue to check the LotLinx FTP folder for stores requested.
  6. Once feeds are found, take the filename before .csv and put that in as their "LotLinx Code" in Dealer > Dealer of LotWalk (Admin required to do this)
  7. Data should start to populate within the following week.
