VinSolutions Report Set Up - INTERNAL ONLY
Reference the following instructions to build VinSolution Reports
Log into VinSolutions account
- Click Insights
- On left hand rail, click My Reports
- On right side of page under blue bar, click the 3 dots
- Click "Create Report"
- Click the settings icon next to Untitled Analysis to rename the report
Report Name: “Dealership Name - Lead Type”
- Dealership Name - Internet Leads
- Dealership Name - Phone Leads
- Dealership Name - Walk-In Leads
Data
Select data for analysis - click Select Data drop down
Choose Leads -- Select the following data points:

- BD Agent
- Customer
- Inventory Type
- Last Attempted Contact
- Last Attempted Email Contact
- Last Attempted Phone Contact
- Last Attempted Text Contact Datetime
- Lead ID
- Lead Last Modified Date
- Lead Origination Date
- Lead Source
- Lead Source Group
- Lead Status
- Lead Status Type
- Lead Type
- Make
- Model
- Sales Rep
- Stock Number
- Trade 1 Make
- Trade 1 Model
- Trade 1 Year
- Trim
- Vin
- Year
Select Data - Add Appointments to Leads
- Remove any data points chosen by default - by clicking the "All" box twice
Select Data - Add Showroom Visits to Appointments
- Remove any data points chosen by default - by clicking the "All" box twice
Select Data - Add Customers to Leads --
- Clear out any defaulted data points chosen and choose the following:
- Can Be Called
- Can Be Emailed
- Can Be Texted
Select Data - Add CRM Sales to Leads
- Remove any data points chosen by default - by clicking the "All" box twice
Select Data - Add Inventory to Leads
- Clear out any defaulted data points chosen and choose the following:
- Age
Select Data - Add Vehicle Trade-Ins to Leads
- Clear out any defaulted data points chosen and choose the following:
- ACV
- Body Style
- Color
- Created By
- Created Date
- Drive Type
- Engine
- Odometer
- Payoff
- Trade #
- Trade Value
Filter
Lead Type: Dependent on which report you are building
- [Lead Type] = Internet
- [Lead Type] = Phone
- [Lead Type] = Walk In
Lead Date Range:
- [Lead Origination Date] Date Range 60 Days Ago - Today
Inventory Type: Dependent on Used or New vehicles
- USED CAR: [Inventory Type] In List - Used, Certified, Unknown
- NEW CAR: [Inventory Type] In List - New, Unknown
Scheduler
- Click 3 dots on right side of report
- Click Schedule
- Make sure the selected dealer is correct
- Fill in the following:
- To: Lotmining@gmail.com
- Subject: depending on what report it is (i.e. Internet, Phone, Walk In)
- dealerCode_internet
- dealerCode_phone
- dealerCode_walkin
- Format: Excel (should be defaulted to this)
- Message: Lotpop
- Schedule dropdown: Daily
- Run On: Schedule it to start on the following day
- Start Time: 1 AM
